Our playgroups operate during school terms and offer a welcoming environment for pre-school aged children, from birth to 5 years with their parent/carer to play, learn and make new friends. Playgroups have guest allied health workers / presenters each term and provide an opportunity for members to participate in a wide range of indoor and outdoor play based experiences.
The Craig Family Centre offers facilitated and volunteer led playgroups. Parents and carer’s have the added benefit of meeting other local parents and carer’s in a social, supportive environment, enabling them to share experiences, form friendships and gain tips on what our local community has to offer for families. Families are also encouraged to participate in volunteering and fundraising activities.
Families can join as an existing group or there is the opportunity to start a new group with your community. Come and speak with us about your ideas - we would love to support you! Dads, grandparents and carer’s are all welcome to join our existing groups or start their own. Please contact us for available times.
